“Best experience Clearwater has to offer!!”

Reviewed April 21, 2016

We originally scheduled a 2 hour paddleboard excursion for a Sunday, but Justin called a few hours before the trip to say that the conditions weren't that good for paddleboarding and wanted to know if we wanted to reschedule. I felt this was great customer service, because he allowed us the option to still go out that day if we wanted to or said we could reschedule for the following day. We chose to reschedule, because we were beginners and wanted to have the best chance at doing well on the boards. Justin met us shortly before our scheduled time and got us situated on the pontoon and we were on our way about 5 minutes before we were even scheduled to leave. We shared the boat with another couple and a single gentleman and there was plenty of room on the boat to accommodate all of us comfortably. The pontoon is really nice and made for a smooth ride. Jason is the person who ended up taking us out on the water and he was great! He had a lot of knowledge about Clearwater Beach and the surrounding area and pointed things out and was very easy to talk to. When we got to the spot, Jason gave us a quick lesson and got us out onto the water. No one required extra lessons, but I am certain he would have been happy to help if needed. As we were getting onto our boards we saw manatees poking their heads up through the water! They only hung around for a little bit, but it was so awesome to see them as part of this excursion! We also saw a dolphin on our way out. Jason noticed I was taking a lot of pictures and offered to take pictures for me while we were out on the water. He took so many pictures and they were all really great! He didn't just take a few pictures as we were starting out, he took pictures throughout the time we were on the water doing different things and got some action shots as well as shots we posed for. The customer service these guys provide is above and beyond! The price is really reasonable for what you are getting- a boat ride/sightseeing, possible wildlife spotting, a quick lesson on the paddleboards, and time out on the water with the paddleboards! Not to mention you aren't crammed onto a boat with uncomfortable seating and too many people! They also have a cooler so you can bring your own food and drinks and they have free bottled water. The 2 hour excursion was plenty of time, but I would recommend doing at least 3 hours, because being out on the boat and paddleboards is so relaxing and fun that you won't want it to end! This was an amazing time and I highly recommend it! I will definitely do this trip again next time I am in Clearwater!
